Strong and constant stress with inappropriate coping style, which makes people uncomfortable and miserable, leads to health damage and psychological disease. Young college teachers in independent college often run into stress with different degree in work and life, so this study is to conduct research on the stress and coping strategies of young college teachers.With 200 young college teachers drawn out from four independent colleges of Jiangxi Province, the writer used SCL-90 scale and TCSQ as research tools and reclaimed 187 efficient questionnaires, which analyzes the stress and coping style and strategies of independent colleges'young teachers.The result of study indicates that young teachers of independent colleges have a certain extent stress, especially obsession and depression with significant differences. In comparison with independent colleges, young teachers of other high schools have significant differences of somatization, interpersonal relationship, depression and anxiety. The stress of independent colleges'young teachers has significant differences on age and education and coping style has significant differences on sex, education and professional title. In comparison with independent colleges, young teachers of other high schools have significant differences on sex, marriage and teaching time. Each element of stress has positive correlation with coping style and negative coping and negative coping can predict stress well.The author discussed the result of analyses and came up with corresponding coping strategies, which including:satisfy the basic needs of young teachers of independent colleges; help young teachers of independent colleges with transforming the role successfully to adapt to the operating post; strengthen the teacher-morality construction and make young teachers of independent colleges take the responsibility of teaching and educating; guide young teachers of independent colleges to use coping style appropriately and master the psychological knowledges. At last the author summarized a stress-mode which specially applies to the young teachers of independent colleges, which indicating that in order to solve the stress of young teachers of independent colleges, we need to start from national policy, colleges' policy and coping style. And inside the coping style, positive coping style is good for releasing the psychological stress, and negative coping style can enlarge the function of the psychological stress.
