Since the 80s of the 20th century, the simple theory of the increasing rise of the field of child psychology has become a global concern theoretical schools. The simple theory is that children in this area of children received informal, pre-scientific theory of knowledge. Simple theory is a special area of interest (domain-specific), so compared with the traditional cognitive research, this theory in the domain-specific cognitive development of children under the guidance of research, greater emphasis on the particularity of the field and the role of knowledge and experience Pay more attention to actual social situations in the research.This study was designed to interview children 4-6 years explorations of the physical phenomena of the shadow of knowledge, science for the kindergarten teaching activities provide the theoretical basis. In this study, 60 were selected as research subjects 4-6 years old children, mainly interviews, case studies and literature method. By using a picture selection task, analyze and summarize the phenomenon of children's understanding of the shadow. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) the phenomenon of early childhood cognitive development of the shadow is divided into four levels. Level 0: The shadow is not rarely conscious. Level 1: that part of the shadow of an object or an attribute of an object. Level 2: aware of the role of light sources. Level 3: Comparison of the shadow to have a correct understanding. Overall, the interviews to young children in the distribution of the four levels as follows: 6% the level of 0,63.3% of children in child care at level 1, 16.7% of the children at level 2, 13.3% of the children at level 3.(2) Children of Shadow is a simple phenomenon of cognitive theory, intuitive understanding of scientific theory from quite a distance. 4-year-old children in the shadow of the cognitive state of chaos, and obviously with the "animism"tendency, very loose interpretation of the shadow, to answer a single relatively fragmented. a 5-year-old child significantly increased interest in the shadow of the curious and ask questions, and has a preliminary understanding of the phenomenon in the shadow of the surface and a simple causal relationship. 6-year-old children have a positive desire for knowledge, has been able to compare the initial understanding of the formation of the inner shadow, hidden causality.Nursery conducting science education activities, should select the appropriate course content, science education should be based on the experience of the original children in the activities of independent research capability to focus on young children.
