Research On Development Of Skidding Class In Changchun Regular Institutions For Higher Teaching And Its Solutions

It is defined in Sports Events Dictionary published by People's Sports Publishing House that skidding was called on-land skating before, which is skating on land as the name implies. But there're wheels under shoes for on-land skating, so now it is renamed skidding. Just as Skating, skidding is also classified into speed skidding, figure skidding and rollerball. Skills of skidding are very much similar to those of skating and Jilin Province is one of the major provinces of ice and snow sports over our country, which lays a solid foundation for popularity and development of skidding in Jilin.As the reformation of college teaching and further deepening of quality education, the guiding ideology oriented at health is advocated in college's sports teaching, which leads to the great development of college sports. Colleges in Jilin Province applies the locally special sports resources to increase the relevant sports fitness facilities, which improves the current conditions of college sports and increases representative and locally special sports fitness events to cater to most students' needs for sports. In such a superior environment,skidding is introduced in PE electives by colleges and taken as a new sports event. But due to the restrictions of objective conditions such as teachers, coach team, ground and facilities, etc., systematic teaching mode and mature activities scale haven't come into being. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a deep and systematic research&study of the current situation that regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun offer the elective of skidding. In this thesis,the situation that regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun offer the elective of skidding is researched so as to find the factors that restrict the launch and development of elective of skidding by research and analysis on the situation that regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun offer the elective of skidding, and to propose the corresponding solutions. After the research has been finished, the following conclusion is drawn:1,Among the 13 regular institutions for higher teaching researched in Changchun: 38.5% of them have offered the elective of skidding, and the popularity rate is very low; 11 of 13 regular institutions for higher teaching in Changchun have founded students amateur society for skidding to carry out extracurricular skidding activities. Changchun Rutomotive Industry Institute and Changchun Financial Institute neither offer the elective of skidding, nor they found amateur society for skidding and carry out extracurricular skidding activities.2,Among those colleges which have offered skidding course, all haven't teaching materials for skidding and half don't set theoretical content in teaching.3,Among hose colleges which have offered skidding course, courses offered are relatively focused on some time and offering times and class hours are relatively less, which can't cater to students' needs to learn skidding. 4,Regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun lack professional grounds for skidding, which limits the teaching of skidding elective and the development of free skidding activities.5,There're not enough professional teachers for skidding in the PE teachers of regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun; title structure is improper and research capability is relatively weak.6,Undergraduate skidding participants of regular institutions for higher learning in Changchun actively carry out skidding activities in other sports and leisure places. They learn skidding knowledge and skill information on the Internet, and communicate skills in personal or small-group form.
