With the maturity of network technology and the popularity of online courses,online courses for high school students become one form of the most important supplement in secondary school education. The current learning outcomes of lecture-based learning online courses reveal that learning motivation is less put emphasis on in the learning process,and the motivation is not thought as a positive core factor throughout the learning process, which is one of the main reason for many students give up to continue study. This paper studies the issue by referring to Chinese and foreign literatures, survey the status of learner's learning motivation and comparative study of several websites.The paper based on the points: 1. Motivation is a complex, abstract concept, which is the core elements that effects the learning outcomes, and its function is throughout the learning process. Therefore, the aim of the study should be how to stimulate and maintain the learner's learning motivation throughout the learning process. 2. Motivation is of individual characteristics, and not every learner can be motivated by the same factors. So, full account of factors should be taken.3. Motivation is the internal mental activity of learners, therefore, it can not be directly measured, and should be predicted by the outside learning behaviors, to get out the factors that affect the learner's learning motivation in the whole learning process. Based on the points, the study clue is: First, based on reading Chinese and foreign literature, a comprehensive summary of factors affecting motivation in the online course learning is made. Second, based on the model proposed by Wlodkowski, a new model integrating the factors is constructed and used in all learning process. Then, we design a questionnaire based on this model, and survey the learns'current learning motivation status in online course and analyze the problem. Third, integrating the data and speculated reason, several websites is compared and find out the reason in web designing. Finally, A Process-based learning program of motivational strategies is proposed.
