The Northeastern Of Guizhou Songtao Miao Lion Dance Case Study

Liondance is the one of our national traditional sports, originating in the ancient central plains region, the lion's dance in old saying, popular in the Tang dynasty. With the introduction of Buddhism to the northeastern of Guizhou Miao areas, after a long evolution it became the unique activities of the Miao Liondance. Liondance of Songtao Miao is a new dance arising from linking areas which Miaofolk sports and folk custom active, due to historical reasons, Songtao Miaolion dance activities is unknown. Therefore, the paper aims that more people know and fall in love with Songtao Miao Liondance.The paper bases on a variety of related historical materials, face to face survey ,interview, case study, comparative study and deduction analysis and oral tradition, we used the methods,such as literature, field surveys, interviews, case analysis, comparison and logic analysis, to make case studies on Songtao Miao lion activity.In conclude, firstly, Songtao Miao liondance originate from the ancient central Plains regions'lion dance on the tang dynasty, ritual activity is helpful for a folk sports; secondly, Songtao Miao'slion dance shows the progression of isolation, excavation, frozen to explosion. it is equipped the nature of inheritance, age, nationality, custom, unique, group, etc; thirdly, Songtao miao lion dance activity has a typical national characteristics, of which the whole people to participate in and based in miao martial arts etc, its function with social environment changes, from the earliest single sacrifice function to the military function, and to the present fitness entertainment function, always running through the sacrifice to function; Fourthly, there is a big gap between Songtao Miao liondance and the Central Plains'lion dance existing in theme of the ceremony, performing style, the lion image, moral and so on.At last, in order to keep Songtao Miao's lion activity healthy and stable development, in the future, we should strengthen the following aspects: tradition and modernity, the combination of abandon and promote; adopt into the local school extracurricular sports activities; enhance exchanges and advertising.
