Moral Influence And Countermeasures Of Spiritual Culture On The Campus

Spiritual culture on campus has been formed in the process of the long-term operation of colleges and universities, and values and spirit have been recognized and accepted by all the staff and the students. As an important part of social culture, campus spiritual culture including morality and customs, knowledge, systems, thoughts, art and behavior and the like has produced a significant impact on college students in many ways such as values, ideals, moral emotions, thought patterns and so on. At present, some problems have appeared in the construction of campus spiritual culture, such as its inaccurate position, the lack of holistic and systematic for spiritual cultural activities and the weak resistance to bad social Ideological trend. All the problems lead to some phenomena such as strong ego, lack of social responsibility, generalization of utilitarian, distortion of value, slack morality , poor integrity, disconnected ethical knowing and doing, and so on. Therefore, to improve moral education some measures must be taken strengthening the construction of connotation of campus culture, optimizing the moral environment. This paper has been employed to elaborate the roles—guiding, guarantee, inspiring and influence-- that the spirit of the campus culture has played to cultivate good moral characters.The article is used to illustrate the influence on and countermeasures to college students in morality and thoughts from four aspects.In the first part, campus culture, meaning, function, and the carrier are stated. First, the meaning of spiritual culture on campus has been explained from theory. The functions of campus spiritual culture have been expounded through the shaping of personality, positive orientation, cohesion motivation, and constraint specification. Finally, the carrier of the campus spiritual culture is elaborated from four aspects such as the educational philosophy, college spirit, the construction of school spirit, and campus network.The second part has been employed to discuss the characteristics, approaches and content of the ideological and moral impact produced by the spirit of the campus culture. The characteristics of the impact are hidden, extensive and persistence. The approaches of the impact are infection, identity, imitation, and suggestion. The impacts are included on the values, the pursuit of ideals, morals and emotions, and thinking patterns.The third part is utilized preliminarily to probe and analyze the problems and the negative moral impacts existing in the construction of the spirit of the current campus culture. The problems are mainly as follows: its inaccurate position, the lack of holistic and systematic for spiritual cultural activities and the weak resistance to bad social Ideological trend. So campus spiritual culture with these problems has produced negative impacts on college students some of whom become utilitarianism, vulgar values, and value materials and underrate spiritual culture, and are confused with the outlook on life. Unhealthy tendency comes along with the negative impacts, and forms tend to be let up while effects tend to be neglected. Therefore, spiritual culture on campus needs to be actively cultivated in practical, and a good atmosphere needs to be created to promote the healthy development of morals among college students.In view of the above characteristics, approaches, content, and the problems of the moral impacts and the negative impacts on college students Part four is employed to discuss the specific measures used to cultivate good moral of college students. On one hand, the developing direction of campus spiritual culture should be defined and at the same time, a harmonious educational environment should be set up. Students should play a dominant position. And their value should be guided to right direction. On the other hand, as an important part in forming the campus culture the construction of the institutional culture plays an escorting role with some specific characters: times, human nature, normative. In this part It is also discussed that the construction campus spiritual culture should develop into the behavior of students and their concept. In the development of the spiritual culture the teachers'guiding role can not be neglected. A large range of cultural activities can further deepen the campus spiritual culture.
