On The Relationship Between Univerisity Campus Culture And Growing-Up Of Modern College Students

University campus culture is the summation of physical patterns, spiritual wealth, and forming process of creating these patterns and wealth. Members of universities create university campus culture when they are in educating, teaching, and managing activities. It includes spirit culture, system culture, material culture, and league culture. Moreover, it has been an important part of education in universities.Nowadays, people pay great attention to university campus culture because it plays an irreplaceable role that other teaching approaches can't match. It directly or indirectly affects college students'harmonious development of thoughts, values, morality, ethics, mentality, and behaviors through standardizing, hinting, and subtly influencing. Consequently, university campus culture promotes students'overall development and helps them becoming potential force in making our country rich and strong. From this sense, the writer tries to analyze university campus culture's role in cultivating college students, to make researches on the problems existing in building campus culture in universities and to seek specific measures for solving these problems. This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the definition of university campus culture and the explanation of its composing. In this part, the writer quotes explanations of culture by many researchers firstly. Then on the basis of definition of campus culture, the writer defines what university campus culture is and explains the four components of university campus culture.The second part is about university campus culture's role in cultivating college students. In this part, the writer shows the importance of university campus culture in promoting students'overall development. After that, it is pointed out that improvement of students'overall quality is the key factor in cultivating qualified constructing force for our country.The third part is the analysis of the problems and challenges existing in today's constructing process for university campus culture. The writer also explains why these problems and challenges are generated.The fourth part is written on the basis of the third part. In this part, the writer puts forward five countermeasures for the problems and challenges described in the third part. They are (1) to attach importance to the construction of University Campus Culture; (2) to strengthen building of effective spirit culture in universities; (3) to enhance development of league culture in universities; (4) to speed up constructions of campus facilities and (5) to set up efficient groups for cultivating college students.
