Teacher Assessment is an important part of school education, and is the necessary means of schooling management. To carry out teacher assessment effectively, is of significant meaning for the comprehensive implementation of education policy, the deepening of education reform, the enhancement of teaching body management, and the improvement in education quality. In recent years, there have been some achievements in the teacher assessment of our country, whether in theory or in practice. However, there are still many problems in the practical work of the high school teacher assessment. Especially, the quality education has made new demands on teachers and teaching. According to that, the teacher assessment should make adjustments to adapt new requests. This paper aims at exploring those problems and expressing assumptions of the improvement on teacher assessment of my own.This paper adopts methods of the combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis. It clarifies the theoretical basis through the normative analysis and establishes the analytical framework of the whole thesis. And through the empirical analysis, it analyzes the status and existing problems of the teacher assessment, and explores measures and suggestions on how to implement and improve the teacher assessment in No.3 Senior High School of Zaozhuang.Except the introduction, the whole thesis consists of three parts.The first part illustrates the theoretical basis of teacher assessment and makes it clear that the developmental teacher assessment is essential for teacher professional development according to new curriculum.The second part introduces the status of the development of the teacher assessment in No.3 Senior High School of Zaozhuang, and finds out seven problems and causes forming the foundation for implementing the developmental teacher assessment.The third part puts forward measures and suggestions on how to implement and improve developmental teacher assessment in seven aspects:management notion, assessment objectives, assessment criterion, assessment subjects, assessment approach, results feedback and relations to be well-handled. This part refers to the researching purpose and stance and the core content of this thesis.
