Analysis On The Relations Between China's Education Service Trade And Economic Growth

The economic globalization and trade liberalization vigorously promote the development of service trade, while the education service trade, which is an important part of service trade, has made rapid progress. Our country is a big education country, but it does not have strong power in education. Education service trade has a vital important impact on a country's economic growth. So, reaching the relations between education service trade and economic growth is important for our country. Our country can reform the education system and take the advantage of education service trade with the help of the research, and then, developing the education service trade in order to stimulate the growth of economy.This paper starts with the basic meaning of education service trade and expounds the mechanism of education service trade and economic growth from the direct trade effects and indirect human capital effect. The development of education service trade in our country started relatively late, but the development has made great achievements in current stage. The international competitiveness of education service trade in our country is weak, compared with other developed countries in the world; there is still a relatively large gap. Based on the analysis of development present situation of our education service trade, this paper verifies the relations between education service trade and economic growth, using the index analysis and statistic analysis method. The result shows that education service trade and economic growth are relevant, and education services exports are the reason of China's economic growth. Besides, education service trade influences economy not only through trade, but also through the human capital.Therefore, our country should open our education market and access to the international education market positively, and then enhance China's education service trade competitiveness and stimulate the economic growth by developing education service trade.
