The student small group is a kind of small related population group which is composed of students who have some common points and interaction. From the view of group, the student small group has two qualities of"common quality"and"association interaction". On the other hand, the unsatisfied feeling of student individual, the absence of social-identity, the deficiency of humanities, the excessive competition offering on the students, the experience of common destiny and the inter-dependence all facilitate the formation of the student small group. Above all, the natural point especially is showed obviously.The guidance of the student small group should get over"total negation","dreadful monster"and"noninterference", while insisting on the principle of"varying from group to group"and"improve the occasion", supporting and protecting the positive groups, encouraging and attracting the intermediate groups, transfering and disorganizing the detrimental groups. Giving the education and guidance to the students by strengthening the formal groups, for instance, the building of class and dormitory, carrying out various students'campaigns, establishing the healthy interpersonal interaction idea and catching key figure. Some methods, such as motivation, trust, attraction, inducement will be used to lead and help different student small groups to develop into the positive groups.
