In the era of knowledge-based economy, informatization has become the world'seconomic and social development trend, and its application in the field of education hasbecome increasingly prominent. Multimedia technology which based on computer andinternet has become an important carrier of modern education system. But in theordinary school, especially in some middle school in non main urban areas, due to theirown conditions and teachers, school students quality constraints, the multimediaauxiliary teaching still stays in the open lesson, observe and learn the lesson, the initialstage. On the other hand, the gaps in middle school between city and non main urbanareas has increased, its imbalance objectively also affected China's rural populationoverall quality improvement. Select a representative area, representative of the teachingas the research object, through the multimedia technology assisted instruction in theteaching of the problems existing in the process of formation, analyze the causes, andputs forward some pertinent measures, to enhance the multimedia courseware in middleschool teaching in the role of significance.This article take the appolication in multimedia courseware on chemistry at middleschool in non main urban areas in Chongqing as the research object. Throughobservation, interviews, questionnaires and other methods of empirical analysis, andbased on the investigation and analysis of middle school in non main urban areas inChongqing, multimedia courseware in the chemistry classroom teaching applicationcondition are discussed and analyzed, combined with chemistry teaching case analysis,summarized that in middle school in non main urban area in Chongqing usingmultimedia courseware exist main problem, show the existence of rural secondaryeducation informatization construction" hard-soft", multimedia equipment applicationoriental is unknown, the relatively low quality of teachers, students lack initiative andother problems. Finally the implementation of rural modern distance education project, improving school education system, improve the overall quality of teachers, to increasethe students' ability of self learning and self renewal of knowledge and finally putsforward relevant suggestions. In order to promote the multimedia technique in thechemistry teaching in middle school in non main urban areas in Chongqing and raisereasonable application and provide a theoretical reference for our country, and middleschool in other non main urban areas to the multimedia auxiliary teaching experience.
