In recent years parental involvement (parent involving) in education management has become an international trend, and it has gone through a tortuous process in the United States, since school education of parental involvement to school management, and gradually entering the school's decision-making. In the process, because of American parental involvement it has promoted a perfect system guard,standard organizations ,perfect organization and diverse in content. Whether parents actively or effectively participate in school education, directly determines the quality of school education. Currently, parental involvement in China is behind the needs of the real situation. There are some divergences between teachers and parents in educational concept, and also involves parental weak awareness, less Breadth and depth of contents. It indicates the inadequate organizational structure, and unsounded policies and regulations.Focus on the problems, this paper chooses American parents involved in school education management as the research object with the literature and real case analysis, etc. It describes under the influence of a variety of welfare that American parents participate in the operating mechanism, such as the form of organization. Through a real case in San Francisco School District, it proved the attention of education sources by parents. For example, they actively involved in teaching management, and provide the help of academic performance with social aspects to students.The main part of the paper consists of four chapters:Chapter one introduces the history of parents involved in American school management, and analyzes the social and historical reasons under the development of American school management. Chapter Two determines the theoretical basis of American parents'participation, and deeply understands the causes of their activity. Chapter Three describes the U.S. system of education, forms of organization and other aspects of American that parents participate in, and school management of their practice for running a detailed presentation and analysis. Chapter Four uses the case of parental involvement in San Francisco school district in order to give us an intuitive understanding about specific practices of Education Management. In addition, adding a chapter about the revelation of parental involvement in China with our actual situation. It provides the implementation of some recommendations referred by our parents'participation.
