And General Secretary Hu Jintao explicitly proposed in the report at the Seventeenth Party Congress:" To carry out the outreach activities of socialism with Chinese characteristics and promote the popularization of contemporary Chinese Marxism." College students are the future and hope of the nation, the builders and successors of the socialism with Chinese characteristics. Therefore, in the particular environment of the universities, to promote contemporary Chinese Marxism among young students, who constitute a special and important social group, is not just great practice of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics, but also a major and brand new reality issue for ideological and political education and researchers.Popularization of Marxism in universities has always been the area of academic concern. Here in China, we have never stopped the exploration and innovation of the path to realize the popularity of Marxism and have achieved certain results, but there is still room for improvement.Thus, according to the current situation of popularization of Marxism in colleges and the acceptance characteristics and growth pattern of college students, it is recommended to start with strengthening the ideological and political theory course construction of teachers,teachers play a leading role.From enhancing the ideological and political theory teachers, creating classes that are charismatic and full of affinity, playing the role of students'communities and relying on the construction of campus culture platform, so the process of popularization of Marxism in colleges can be speeded up.
