In this paper, the purpose of the study is to appraise and analyze the arable land intensive use condition of Yining city in new situation, to increase production capacity of arable land and agricultural output benefit and to promote the coordinate development between the agricultural production and social economy, and stable strong basic for the second and three industry of Yining city.The article made comprehensive and systematic research to the arable land intensive use condition of Yining city base on the internal and external theory and research findings. First, the author introduced the climate situation, water resource status and soil texture of the arable land resource of Yining city, and expatiate the use actuality of arable land resource based on this. Second, the author analyzed particularly the effective factors of the arable land intensive use of Yining city such as nature, population, economic development, scientific and technological advancement and policies and systems. Third, the author applied separately the model of arable land use intensity and the formula of economic elasticity to account, analyze and discuss the arable land use intensity and it's elasticity, then educed the conclusion of arable land use intensity of Yining city has pertinence with the economic development and agricultural output value. At last, on the basis of research content had been stated, the author advanced the relative countermeasures and advices particularly to improve arable land intensive use condition of Yining city, to expect to afford some references and lessons to agricultural departments.
