Currently, East Asia has become the most active region of trade and investment in the world. China and South Korea have increased more close economic and trade activities, showing the electronic information industry and mechanical industry to increase intra-industry trade as well as trade structure changed a lot in the past few years. This study mainly based on the level and structure changes of intra-industry trade between China and Korea in recent years to focus on analysis of internal division of labor in electronic information industry and mechanical industry. While taking advantage of the international competitiveness of industry indicator system, analyzed the competitiveness of specific industries and the advantages of the two countries. Made recommendations on how to deal with the relationship between cooperation and competition in the relevant industries of both China and South Korea, and promoted regional cooperation in East Asia. This paper is divided into six parts, focusing on intra-industry trade and industrial competitiveness analysis, the analysis concluded that:the competitiveness of electromechanical products in China was stronger than Korea; the competitiveness of machinery products in Korea was stronger than China; the competitive advantage of optical medical equipment industry in China was weaker than that of South Korea but has great potential. In general, the share of vertical division of labor within the intra-industry is more than the horizontal division of labor, but the level horizontal of division of labor is the future trend of development. For industrial development and trade situation, took LCD industry as an example, suggested that go deep into the upstream industry chain specific areas, and gradually improve the overall strategy of the industrial chain. On bilateral trade, increased industrial cooperation to promote trade and investment within East Asia; created parts trading system to strengthen the level within the industry; enhanced the value chain to promote industrial competitiveness; enhanced brand quality and built green low-carbon industries and so on.
