Kunming, The Development Of Service Outsourcing Research

The world economy is increasingly integrated since the 1990s with the rapid development of high-tech centered by the information technology revolution which not only breaks through the borders, but also reduces the distance between countries and regions. Resources and factors of production are configuring worldwide, capital and products are flowing in the whole world, science and technology is also expanding rapidly with the acceleration of economic globalization. At the same time, international division of labor has evolved from the level of intra-industry to the level of inter-industry, and then today's intra-product division of labor. The world economy has stepped into the new stage of the international transfer of services from the international transfer of manufacturing. International service outsourcing is booming.In recent years, the service outsourcing industry is growing rapidly under the great attention paid by the government. The State Council has identified 21 service outsourcing model city. Local governments do everything possible to promote the development of service outsourcing by means of introducing preferential policies, building service outsourcing demonstration zones and optimizing investment environment. Practice has proved that the development of service outsourcing has a significant positive effect on industrial upgrading, economic development and job growth; Compared with the domestic provinces and cities, the development of service outsourcing in Kunming is lagging behind; Kunming has unique geographical advantages and industrial characteristics for the development of service outsourcing, China - ASEAN Free Trade Area provides a broad market prospect and unique advantages for the development of service outsourcing in Kunming. How to accelerate the development of service outsourcing and promote sound and fast economic and social development in Kunming is a hot issue commonly concerned by political, academic and business circles.This paper focuses on service outsourcing in Kunming and can be divided into five chapters. In part one, we first of all introduce the research background and significance, then summarize the current domestic and international research literature, propose the research method and possible innovation and inadequacies of the article. The second chapter gives a clear definition of the basic concept of service outsourcing and then introduces the basic theory of service outsourcing. The third chapter describes basic conditions and characteristics of the current development of international service outsourcing, as well as the development trend of domestic and international service outsourcing. In the following part, we point out the development environment and current situation of the service outsourcing industry in Kunming and present a comprehensive analysis on the development of the service outsourcing industry in Kunming using the SWOT model. In the last section, we propose policy recommendations on the development of service outsourcing industry in Kunming based on the analysis of the above chapters.
