Empirical Analysis Of Construction Land Growth Impacting On Non-agricultural Economic In Hubei Province

The purpose of this passage is to study the development of non-agricultural economy caused by the growth of construction land in Hubei province. The study sought to find out rational methods for construction land growth using and promote non-agricultural economy steady developing.This passage use two models and mathematical formula to calculate relevant indicators about construction land growth in Hubei province. In the part of status of construction land growth in Hubei province, with the method of average annual change in strength index not only comparison changes in strength index of construction land, but also comparison changes in the intensity of construction land and other land from 2004 to 2008 year. In the part of construction land impact on non-agricultural economy developing, using advanced model of translog production function with the ridge regression to calculate the output of non-agricultural economy caused by the growth of construction land and evaluate the output accounting for proportion of non-agricultural industries for economy development in Hubei province, and then calculate the spillover of output of construction land growth.At last, using model combined with H-P filter to calculate the influence index about construction land growth impact on non-agricultural economy goal achieving.The study conclusion shows that the period from 2004 to 2008.construction land growing fastest, because all kinds of lands belong to construction land are growing, the kind of residential and industrial land growing fastest than other kinds. Contribution rate shows development caused by construction land growth is declining. construction land growth impact on non-agricultural economy is small, but its output is ascending. The shape of output per unit area is U, the reasons are the flexibility of spillover output is ascending and in-output ration is falling. Growth of construction land in Hubei Province and the deviation of the target will have an impact on realization of non-agricultural economic output targets.The results reveal the system which is constituted by average annual change in strength index, model of translog production function and the model combined with H-P filter can effective analyze the development of non-agricultural economy caused by the growth of construction land in Hubei province. Study of verage annual change in strength index shows trend of construction land is so strong that affect the goal of non-agricultural economy achieving, the trend of excessive growth of construction land should be restrained. Output of immediacy getting income is limited, but the superiority from spillover of output is appearing slowly in Hubei province.
