Research On Development Of Urbanization And Sustainable Utilization Of Water Resouirce

Since the reform and opening, China has experienced rapid economic growth. Urban, as an important carrier of the national economy, also experienced a rapid development. The urban population has increased, and the number of urbans and scale expanding produce. The urbanization process produces a series of economic and social issues that should arouse our integrated and comprehensive consideration and evaluation of urbanization. Meanwhile, accompanied by rapid economic growth, our economy and society has been faced with resource exhaustion, environmental degradation, population issues and other challenges.Resource exhaustion and environmental degradation make our economic and social development face constraints. Water resource, as an important natural resource, is essential to our production and living conditions. Water resource is directly related to China's economic and social sustainable development. Therefore, the research of urbanization development and water resource has important theoretical and practical significance. The per capita possession of water resource in Shandong province is relatively low. The study of urbanization and water resource sustainable utilization of Shandong province is important to economic and social development and sustainable utilization of water resource.This paper discusses the theoretical relationship between the sustainable utilization of water resource and urbanization development. Then, through the research of the history of water resource utilization and urbanization of Shandong province, we discusses the interactive relationship between the two. The all text content is divided into 7 chapters:The first chapter is the introduction section, we generally outline the research background, purpose and meaning, the main framework, research methods and possible innovations and shortcomings. The second chapter is literature review, we review the theory of urbanization and water resource, and the current research of the relationship between the two. The third chapter is the theoretical analysis, to explore the interactional mechanism of urbanization and water resource utilization. The fourth chapter analyzes the urbanization development of Shandong province and the specific circumstances of water utilization, and analyzes the urbanization and water resources utilization status and characteristics of Shandong province. The fifth chapter is the empirical part, to the data of urbanization and water utilization of Shandong province case study, we do the quantitative analysis of the relationship between the two. We find that there is a strong interaction between the development of urbanization and utilization of water resource of Shandong province. The sixth chapter is the policy recommendations, we propose a number of recommendations on the urbanization development and sustainable utilization of water resource. Finally, the seventh chapter is a summary and outlook.
