The Research Regarding The Impact Of The Finnancial Crisis On Trade Remedies

The paper has mainly utilized methods of the induction and deduction, the fundamental research and the applied research, the vertical analysis and the dynamic analysis, to study the effect of financial crisis on the international trade remedies.The research indicates that the global economic growth,the trade growth have an approximate synchronized tendency with the frequency of trade remedies. From 1996 to 2009, the changing tendency of the world economic growth and the global trade remedies indicates that the two is approximately related: When global economy develops steadily and fast, the quantity of global trade remedies'cases will present the reduced tendency; when global economy becomes murky, these cases of trade remedies will show the rising trend.Moreover, as China is becoming more important day by day in global trade system, it has already occupied the heartland of international trade friction. Overseas trade remedies to the Chinese exports increase, and the trade value of related case is getting bigger and bigger, with diversified forms of trade remedies, and the countervailing and safeguard measures become the focal point gradually. In the background of global fragile economic environment, we should guard against the negative influence of trade remedies issued by the trade partners.We note that under the financial crisis, the countries such as US, European Union and India, Argentina are most frequently adopt trade dispute settlement mechanism of WTO, but China's trade remedy measures slightly are obviously insufficient, the frequency of utilizing the WTO solution is quite low, and unable to maintain own right trade benefit fully by using the WTO rule. Finally the paper proposes China's foreign trade remedy measures and the policy suggestion based on the influence of the financial crisis to the trade remedies.
