Analysis On FDI Affecting The Structure Of Export Commodities In Sichuan Province

In recent years the FDI in China has received constant growth and meanwhile the export trade is also expanding its scale which all benefit from China's outward economic policy of attracting foreign investment since China entered WTO. In the meantime,as the national strategy to develop western regions has been put into execution,the leading province of western regions-Sichuan's development is obviously becoming more important for the whole area. Therefore, in order to make the foreign investment policy more reasonable,by discussing the impact of how FDI in Sichuan has promoted the development and optimization of export trade structure,this research features prominently for carrying out the national strategy of developping western regions in both theory and practices.This research studies the general situation and the feature of FDI in Sichuan in recent years based on the literature study of relative theories,and then discusses the current situation and the feature of Sichuan's export commodity mix.In the last part,this research uses co-integration analysis to study the FDI's positive effect and negative effect on Sichuan's export commodity mix. Through the discussion of attracting foreign investment in effect for Sichuan province and improving the export commodity mix to keep competitive advantages for sustainable development, as well as the policy recommendations, this research tries to cover the theory gap on this field.
