| In recent years, with the rapid increase in customers'load and the ever-growing in transmission line capability and scale, transmission lines have new trend that come into being extra high-pressure power network on the base of super grid between provinces. The extra high-pressure power network has feature of distant, large-scales, and low-loss. At the same time, Construction of power transmission projects with long construction period and large investment demand. There is clearly limited what research and application on the transmission projects cost control system .therefore, it is necessary for us to research on the transmission projects cost control system. First of all, this paper summarizes the condition in the theory of project cost control home and overseas. The background and meaning is be resisted in the paper, on that basis, the main content and framework are put forward. Secondly, the basic theoretical of the transmission project cost management and cost control is amplified, the paper overall sums up design the method of cost control of the power transmission project.
