Due to the formation of long-term urban-rural dual economic structure and limitations on migrant workers from traditional household registration system, making migrant workers subject unfair treatment in social security, education, political rights and many other aspects, especially in social security, most migrant workers in the state of insecurity. In 2008, the financial crisis sweeping the globe, migrant workers become the most direct victims, and about 20 million migrant workers returned home because of the financial crisis made them lost jobs or not found job, accounted for 15.3% of the total number of migrant workers employment outside the home. Since the second half of 2008, the party and government attention the employment of migrant workers returned home. In the case of the overall poor economic situation, through the improvement of migrant workers returning home security system, to promote their re-employment, is important in China.This article departures from the study summarized existing, explains the related concepts and basic theory of migrant workers return home and employment security, combined with first-hand data obtain from field research, introduced the basic employment situation of the migrant workers return home in Hunan province, and further excavate the achievements and real problems exist in Government's employment security work of migrant workers return home, finally, puts forward the countermeasures in order to improve and perfect the employment security system of migrant workers return home.Specifically, this article through social survey data, from the basic situation and employment situation two aspects introduced the employment security status of migrant workers return home in Hunan Province.
