As the rapid growth of automotive industry in China, the output of auto industry grows at 20% to 25% annually, and the auto-parts also get a high increase rate. Such as automotive electronics, with the requirements from auto customer on cleaner, safer, smarter, the automotive electronics increase at 30% to 40% annually, this brings the challenge to overall facility and logistic flow, with this rapid expansion, both consider efficiency overall cost, continuous provide low cost high quality parts to OEM is the topic for most of the automotive electronics.This Article considers the specifics for automotive electronics and facility planning theory development situation, especially consider the lean manufacturing concept which was emerged these years. Combining the VSM with the SLP method establish the lean facility planning model and also implement the pull method and Kaban method into the facility planning model. For the electronics manufacturing company, practice it by ABC company's new facility planning project.
