| Since the day of birth in the50th of last century, Lean manufacturing system has been proved to be a more productive manufacturing style compared to traditional mass production style as it provides lower cost, customer focused products, more flexibility to be adopted into today's dynamic business environment. Lean manufacturing system has expanded from birthplace of Japan to North America, to Europe, to Asia, has been expanding from Auto industry to Electronic industry, to construction industry, to military industry such as aircraft etc#, the business world is full of successful stories due to lean implementation, while full of painful stories of conventional mass production factory. All of these successful stories have announced the advantage of lean manufacturing against mass production and predicted that21th century would be a lean manufacturing century.China is been transforming into world manufacturing centre since its entry of WTO. it has been famous for providing low cost products. Now as more and more foreign investments flooding into China market, the labor cost balance point has been changing, labor won't be cheap all the time:More over customers are calling for mass customization products of suit their personality.
