Analysis On The Application Of Lean Production In Final Assembly Workshop Of XR Company

The quantity of competitors for our domestic manufacturing enterprises grows fiercelywhen China opens the foreign markets. Companies need to enhance their own ability in ahurry under furious competition. Therefore, the companies could survive and obtain thecompetitiveness only by removing the old system and introducing the new concepts andmode for production management. Lean production has been proved to be acting well inquality control, cost control, delivery control and safety control after practical applicationin several companies both in domestic and foreign countries. Consequently, the concepts ofLean production are implemented through the entire system and each management level ofcompany and are used to adjust and rearrange resources in order to obtain newopportunities for surviving.The paper deeply analyses the current situation of final assembly workshop in XRCompany on production management and digs out the root causes. The principles and toolsof Lean production have been stated in the paper. Little adjustment has been made on thetools of Lean production, such as one piece flow, pull system and5S, withoutcompromising the spirit of Lean production. Meanwhile the improving solution which issuitable for the application in final assembly workshop has been created by syntheticallyusing the new tools after adjusting and combining the actual situation of final assemblyworkshop. All in all, the aim for the paper is to probe into the practical application of Leanproduction in principle, method and tools on production management but not limited on thelevel of principle. Besides, the paper tries to promote the motivity on introducing Leanproduction in company by the successful achievement and to prove that the Leanproduction could not only be implemented successfully in car producing and electricalappliances manufacture enterprise but also in large-vehicle manufacture enterprises.
