Study Of Development Of The East Asian Regional Production-Sharing Model

East Asian production-sharing model is throughout the historical process of economic development. On one hand it has produced significant impact on economic development in East Asia, on the other hand with the change of dynamic comparative advantage is in constant change. After World War II, the East Asian economy has developed rapidly and created a world-renowned "East Asian miracle" with the "flying geese mode"based on endogenous comparative advantages. With the change of the comparative advantage, the"flying geese model"gradually began to collapse and the transformation of flying geese model began to form and develop. Meanwhile, East Asian conformed to the dynamic comparative advantage changes to take an active part in regional production networks. Since reform and opening-up, China has involved the East Asian regional production-sharing mode with the change of dynamic comparative advantage, and China has been influenced greatly by it. Meanwhile, China has greatly influenced the East Asian production-sharing model and the development of it.This paper will mainly study the development of East Asian production-sharing model and its effect, and discuss the development of the East Asian production-sharing mode from the dynamic comparative advantage theory. First, we will analyze the dynamic comparative advantage theory, which is the theory basis of the development of East Asian production-sharing mode. Second, we will review the process of"flying geese model"based on endogenous comparative advantages. Then, we will analyze the transformation of flying geese model based on the change of comparative advantage. What's more, we will discuss the emergence and development of the regional production networks, and analyze its macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. And we will discuss the trend of East Asian production-sharing model, and explicitly point out that East Asian production-sharing mode development should promote the East Asia economic balanced, stable, coordinated and sustainable development. Finally, this paper will analyze the process position of the participation of China in East Asian production-sharing model according to the comparative advantage.The research conclusion is, the modern theory of comparative advantage is theoretical basis of the development of East Asian production-sharing model. First, the East Asian countries have taken part in the production-sharing model based on endogenous comparative advantages. Second, the comparative advantage has been in change with the production-sharing model. Finally, the dynamic comparative advantage determines the dynamics of production-sharing model.
