Wuhan City Circle Economic Development Model Study

Nowadays, the boom of megalopolis has became one of the most important trend of world economy and urban development. Along with the rapid development of the city expedited,the megalopolis also enters into a period of quick growth in our country. Wuhan Megalopolis is the key point to correspond the development of eastern, middle, and western district of our country. It has a very solid foundation in economy, traffic, commodity and trading, science and education. The article uses a mass of data to analyse the economic development of Wuhan Megalopolis empirically. This paper summarizes the characteristics of its economic development model, and carries on a detailed analysis to the causes of its problem. Then,it proposes related suggestions to improve the economic development model of Wuhan megalopolis, and defines the positioning and direction of each cities in Wuhan meaglopolis. With the gradual implementation of the apace strategy of central rise, it requires the Wuhan Megalopolis to fasten the development and realize the economic integration to bring along the econocmic growth in the whole central region.The content of this thesis consists of five parts. The first part comprehensively introduces the background and significance of this research. The second part includes related theoretical backdrop and literature review. The third part analyzes the current state of development of the Wuhan Megalopolis over a mass of data. The fourth part is the empirical analysis and evaluation on the effects of economic development model of Wuhan megalopolis.The fifth part studies the environment of accelerating the development of Wuhan Megalopolis and structure the development model to expand and expedite the economic development of it and postion the function of the cities within the Wuhan Megalopolis.
