Nowadays, the Economic globalization process is speeding up, and the competition pattern beyond the national boundary has formed gradually. No matter adapted actively or passively, every country is facing enormous chances and challenges. Each country is possible to break through some constraints such as market scales, natural resources and so on, as well as optimize the resources on a global level, in order to bring about greater benefit. However, to enter the international market, an enterprise has to face a more diverse and complex environment. At this point, the pressure of competition is not only from domestic competitors, but also from different background- political, economic, and cultural differences in a larger, diverse and changing competitive environment. Therefore, companies need to learn about their competitors extensively, and develop competition strategies more specifically. This paper will discuss competitive priority in the internationalization of purchasing , manufacturing and marketing businesses of the manufacturing enterprises. Based on reviews of the researches in terms of the enterprise internationalization theory and competitive priority theory, this paper will propose the proposition that manufacturing enterprises with different types of internationalization will choose different competitive priorities. Using empirical data from International Manufacturing Strategy Survey 2009,the paper analyzes competitive priority characters and the differences of manufacturing enterprises competitive priority characteristics at different levels of internationalization by applying factors analysis, Multivariate tests and Levene's tests. Based on the prior studies, this paper designs the models of the transfer of competitive priority for the internationalization of purchasing, manufacturing and marketing businesses.Last but not least, to reveal the difference between the competitive priorities in process of manufacturing enterprises internationalization roundly and meticulously , this paper introduces the Manufacturing Enterprise Global Operations Network Embedded Mode, and divide the international operations in manufacturing enterprises into eight types of modes. Based on the Mode of the Adjacent Layer-type compared with the Cross-layer-type Path Model, it analyzes the features of competitive priority in different types of international manufacturing operations, and the priority change in the process of internalization. This makes the results of the study more in line with the actual situation, and provides theoretical support for enterprise management.
