As a new kind of organization form which breaks the idea, mode and method of traditional integration enterprises, virtual companies can not only improve the capability of company adaptability and grasp market opportunities, but also cultivate enduring core competence. VEs lead the market opportunity, once the core enterprise discovers a market chance it needs to search relative resources and integrate them. In this process, a lot of activities are required, such as search of resources suppliers, negotiation, selection of best cooperative partners, contract-making, integration of network, supervision of VE performance, implementation of contract. Under traditional way, enterprises are able to carry out the process via internet and electronic resources, or with the help of VE-Broker. Whereas, many researchers question that whether traditional approach can could better support reconfiguration of supply chain and virtual enterprises, especially those which require high reconfiguration and product complexity. Therefore, herewith I put forward a new approach to improve VE integration efficiency. For this reason, a brand new platform is necessarily established in order to assist building virtual enterprises.To be short, this platform is a database of resource suppliers, which can provide help with VE establishment. Specifically, it may support integration and reconfiguration, it may as well provide guidance of enterprise operation and IT infrastructure, it can also assess performance of partners and keep record of history information. Obviously, VE integration platform offers incorporate solution and can satisfy high flexibility and dynamics of VEs. In this article, to demonstrate the significance and value of integration platform on qualitative and quantitative analysis, a comparative study is conducted between traditional approach and VE integration platform.The first two chapters review the theory and research situation of the fourth party logistics and virtual enterprises. The third chapter is divided into 3 parts, firstly, I elaborate the VE integration platform inspired by fourth party logistics on a theoretical basis; secondly, by adopting IDEFO model can we organize a functional model, an organizational model, an enterprise integration model and resource selection model; finally, a comparison is made among processing activities under traditional method and VE integration platform. The forth chapter sets up a time-cost model of resource search and selection both dependently and independently. In the last chapter, this article assigns data to variables and obtains dominance domain under two different approaches by simulation.
