The Case Study On Formation Of Independent Innovation Capacity Of The Equipment Manufacturing Enterprise

Many people have researched independent innovation in industry and academia. In today's increasingly competitive market, enterprises pay more and more attention to how to use core technology to consolidate and enhance their competitiveness. Independent innovation is the basis of enterprise itself, combined with the market condition. However, based on China's current situation, independent innovation still has a long way to go. Independent innovation requires practical experience and theoretical guidance lacks experience. So, in this paper industry leaders shall be given a focus on heavy industry– by looking at an equipment manufacturing enterprise, by looking at other international companies for contrast, and combining actual examples of independent innovation in China at the Harbin-electromotor plant, trying to clearly display the equipment manufacturing industry's innovation situation, and put forward creative feasible suggestions to the existing problem.The paper first give new definitions of manufacturing equipment enterprises'innovation capabilities, including internal innovation, systematic innovation, and open innovation. It goes on to analyze Harbin-electromotor Company's method of innovation, including the innovation process, factors for innovation and its results. This analysis of Harbin-electromotor Company allows the identification of the key factors that influence an equipment manufacturing enterprise's innovation capabilities. These factors are used to develop a model of the innovation process for other companies to follow, which can develop innovation. This paper has analyzed new challenges faced by equipment manufacturing enterprises in China, and suggests practical solutions to develop our country's innovation capability.
