| With the global economic integration deepening unceasingly, the investment environment of our country continuously improves and foreign investment increases ceaselessly. Therefore, with transnational corporations as the main body of the foreign direct investment (Foreign Direct Investment, or FDI) contribution to our country economy is obvious to people. With respect to our country character, FDI is not only an important source of capital, but also an important way to obtain the technology spillover that stimulatives the economy growth.Domestic and foreign studies have shown that FDI into the technology spillover on the economic development of our country have a great pushing effect. But the FDI technology spillover on China’s enterprises, especially to independent innovation of equipment manufacturing industry influence, scholars have not yet reached a consensus view. In order to improve the capability of independent innovation and provide theoretical support,we study the influence of the FDI technology spillover to the independent innovation of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry the ability of domestic equipment manufacturing industry.This paper is based on understanding and tanalysis the FDI technology spillover and innovation theory,as well as foreign experiences of independent innovation. First of all,we do qualitative analysis on FDI about independent innovation of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry. Then using the method of empirical analysis and Eviews statistical analysis software, we dialectically analysis from regional level.
