With the growth of EBC company ,SCM is getting more and more complicated.SCM faces the challenges of how to make the plans considering constrained resources, materials availability, order reservation, order promise check, While the current ERP system cannot provide functions to solve these problems. APS provides holistic and powerful solution for SCM, and is a comprehensive, internet-based supply chain planning solution which will help us achieve the above target. More and more companies use APS as their optimization preference in the past years. So, EBC company decide to implement the APS system.This thesis analyzed the application of APS system for EBC company, by analyzing the process of implementation of the project shows the advantage of the Oracle APS system compared to ERP system:(1) The traditional ERP system is based on unlimited resource constraints, APS system is based on the finite resource constraints, improve production planning feasibility;(2) The traditional ERP system is only based on one of supply chain - manufacturers, long cycle. APS system support multi-plants, you can run plan from the demand to the plants in one day, quickly respond to changing requirements;(3) To the traditional ERP system, commitment is based on manual processing of orders, long cycle.
