Abstract/Summary:
Human capital and physical capital on economic impact is one of the important problems that has been studied. From the macroscopic research findings people naturally concluded that these two kinds of capital influence company performance.To the policymaker, human capital investment brought large increase in cost rather than bring company performance growth. Only if we use objective data to display the relationship between the two capital and the company performance can we help policymakers change the traditional concept to make the right investment decisions.This paper discuss the physical capital, human capital and company performance relationship by systematic documental exploration and empirical method from microcosmic angle. It takes 08 years industries listed companies as research subject. Firstly, we comprehensive display the capital investment difference between and within industries. Secondly, we verify the action of physical capital on company performance and contribution differences. By the way of linear correlation analysis, it is found that the physical capital will not significantly affect the enterprise performance except some industries which need high fixed assets investment requirements such as construction and transportation Finally, we explore the different contributions between executives'human capital and employee's human capital. we make a conclusion that executives'human capital significantly affect the company performance but employee's human capital will not significantly affect the company performance. The results also shows that human capital investment contribute more in higher percentage of human capital investment group than in lower group. In light of above conclusions, this paper does some discuss and gives some suggestions on optimizing the investment decision-making .
