Chinese leasing industry has been developing outstandingly since itsestablishment in nearly 30 years ago. In 2010, the market volumeapproached 420 billion Yuan, in which bank holding leasing companiesoccupied almost half volume. Captive and independent leasing companiesrealized 220 billion Yuan. Besides the emerging big market scale, thenumber of companies involving in the leasing industry increases as well.Thus, it will be an issue to solve that how independent leasing companiesto expand their business so that they could get success in the market.The paper introduced a basic concept and definition of leasing at thevery beginning. And then it analyzed the problems existing in theoperation of independent financial leasing companies. Followed byapplying quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis measures, authorproposed maneuvers on business expansion. Furthermore, the papercompared several different financing methods and gave some suggestions on financing. Lastly, some opinions are given on risk management.Due to the difficulty of statistical data collection of the industry,some problems were encountered when sampling and utilizingquantitative analytical tools.
