Enterprise Risk Management Maturity Influential Factor Research

This thesis mainly focus on enterprise risk management topics, from the current economic turmoil, the outside world dynamics, to the increasing enterprise risks. We hope to be able to explore the influencial factors of enterprise risk management maturity level. In-depth analysis is done to examine the relationship among enterprise risk management maturity and corporate governance.By reviewing present literature of enterprise risk management, it is found that most of them pay attention to the relationship of firm value and risk management, or some influential factors, like CIO position. Less of the scholars get into the subject that why some firms are better than others in risk control, or why firms can handle some risks better than others.In this thesis, we study the enterprise risk management from the corporate governance perspective. It turns out that the corporate governance environment, corporate governance capability, corporate stratege, corporate culture, coporate governance process, resources, and technology have positive influence on enterprise risk management maturity.
