With the high speed development of chinese ship industry, safety accidents in shipyards which caused prodigious loss of life and belongings is on the increase, so it's a urgent task to erect effective mechanism of risk management. Risk evaluation can reveal the risk status of a project of ship repair, which can offer analyse conclusion and advice for decision-making, so it's a important basic work of establishing mechanism of risk management.Risk study with quantitative evaluation of ship repair is infrequent now, so my dissertation study is just to fill up the blank study point. It has practical significance.A project of ship repair is a intricate systems engineering with many risk factors, These risk factors have different contributions to the system safety, and the risk levels of these factors are also different. In this case, we must use a method to synthesize these risk index, which will make out a compositive value of risk evaluation, if we want to get a general risk evaluation. In this dissertation, Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) is used to design the general flow chart of risk evaluation of ship repair. Guided by MMEM method, I establish the risk evalration index system of ship repair through consulting experts. The weight of each evaluation index are caculated after consulting ex[ert and AHP (Analytic Hlerarchy Process). Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation is selected to establish the mathematics model. By the repair of MV Ocean Grace as an example, I validate the feasibility of the AHP-fuzzy comprehensive safety evaluation model in ship repair. Finally, I advance safety policy recommendations in three ways of the evaluation index weights, the judgments of single-factor and the final judgments.
