Study On Inventory Control Strategy Based On Integrated Supply Chain

Supply chain management is an important development direction of current international business management and inventory management is emphases of supply chain management. Inventory management not only affects the cost of the company in the supply chain, but also restricts the performance of the whole supply chain. Therefore, how to enhance inventory control and low-cost operation of enterprises is the current challenges faced by many enterprises.Inventory problems from the point view of supply chain have been studied in the thesis.First of all, based on the summing-up of the researches, the theory source and development process of supply chain management, the basic concepts and strategies and the basic model of theory of inventory have been introduced and a preliminary study on improvement strategies based on ERP and DRP was carried.Secondly, the traditional inventory control methods which have the two major problems in the implementation of supply chain management, i.e. demand amplification effect and uncertainties, have been analyzed. Based on the performance and its causes and effects, the preliminary solutions are brought forwards.Thirdly, three methods of inventory control which are VMI, JMI, CPFR, under the idea of the modern supply chain management, are analyzed. It is described from the aspects, such as thought, structure, implementation process and flow of three methods, etc. It highlights the thought, practical implementation process, difficulties and priorities of the inventory control methods, which will benefit the selection of enterprise inventory strategy and specific implementation.Lastly, as a case of a high-tech enterprise, it has been introduced that the difficulties in the aspects of supply chain management and inventory control and inventory control measures and strategy based on integrated supply chain are taken.
