An Optimization Study On Demand Forecasting Of Company A Based On CPFR

With the rapid development of science and information technology, economic globalization makes more chance and challenge. Nowadays, the competition between companies has changed from production to supply chains. Especially, Sales Corporation faced with the more complicated competition environment, and SCM efficiency directly affect the production sales. Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) is a superior mode of SCM collaboration. The most important part in CPFR process is demand forecast accuracy, also it’s the biggest problem that the CPFR project faced with. Meanwhile, the big data technology have a rapid development, and have already used in many field.Based on the background and the review of correlative theories, this paper attempts to the combination between big date and demand forecasting of CPFR process. Firstly, this paper have a review on CPFR theory and the present situation of its development. Then, take the CPFR case of company A, through mathematical model and fish bone Analysis, to find the root cause of the problems happened during the CPFR project, and use an example to prove it. At last, this paper try to find the joint point between big data technology and CPFR by feasibility analysis, and give some useful advice to the SCM Data Integration and Application of the Sales Corporation from interior and external vision.The results suggest that, in order to improve the demand forecast accuracy, Sales Corporation can use big data technology attain the goal. The company need enforce the ability of data obtainment and data mining, at the same time, enlarge the number of CPFR cooperative enterprise, and make a private and unique database through the position of supply chain leader.Integrate the big data mind with the SCM, and make the demand forecast more close to the real quantity of production sales, upgrade the level of CPFR project is the innovation of this paper.
