As a world-class professional Coal Dock Company, Coal Terminal Company is the largest coal handling company in Tianjin Port, its coal throughput reached 35 million tons in 2010, accounting for Tianjin Port coal handling capacity 52%.But at present, due to the two pressure's effect, Coal Terminal Company will face a severe test, the two pressure is the fierce competition of port coal business in Circum-Binhai-sea region and bulk cargo logistics center's be moved that is in order to guarantee the development of Binhai new area. The main contents of this thesis is to research the possibility of storage yard reconstructed in Coal Terminal Company and the effect of the new projects for coal terminal company production and management after storage yard reconstructed, which for coal terminal company can continue to survive and develop has important significance.This thesis complies with the following thinking: clarifying question, analysis, planning and design and getting conclusion, it is led by the logistics facility layout theory and the port handling process to reconstruct and plan the coal terminal company storage yard.
