The Study In Farmers' Old Age Pension Of Jiaxing

Located in Hangjiahu Plain, the central area in the Yangtze riverdelta, Jiaxing, known as "the land of fish and rice" and "the silkmansion", has a rich economic basis, and a small income gap betweenurban and rural area. As a comprehensive supplementary reformsexperimental area in Zhejiang, Jiaxing has conducted an activeexploration and bold innovation focusing on negotiating urban and ruraldevelopment, equality on public service and so on. Jiaxing has alsoestablished the old-age pension system of urban and rural areas,especially in the farmers' old-age pension, which has accumulatedsuccessful experience. Thanks to the ageing population, the economicand social development, and the constant emerging of the new situationand the new problem, the concrete measures and practices of theexisting farmers' old-age pension system still has problems, for examplefarmers endowment treatment on the low side, resource configuration isnot reasonable, endowment insurance fund supervision system is notperfect, and so on. Learning from domestic and foreign policy andpractice experience, only by taking farmers' fundamental interests as the starting point and the foothold, protecting farmers' legal rights frombeing compromised, and improving farmers' old-age pension system,can we solve the farmers' old-age pension problems properly.
