Rural pension insurance system is an important system which related to basic living of 900 million Chinese farmers. Among with the accelerating development of industrialization and urbanization, the amount of rural workers and lost-land-farmers that keep living in the rural area are aging rapidly. Therefore, it's an important action to found newly rural pension insurance system, so as to guarantee the basic living of aging population in the country, to change farmer's traditional old-age insurance awareness, to keep stability of rural place, as well as to improve the economic and social development.This article studies the rural pension insurance system in term of comparison analysis.On the background of the transitional economy, the paper regards the rural market economy as the starting point, and studies systematically the rural pension insurance system on the basis of the existing theories and practical experience, using the beneficial theoretical and practical experience of rural pension insurance system in other countries as reference. Combing the current situation of rural pension insurance system, the study puts forward a whole thought and scheme of establishing the rural pension insurance system in China. The author hopes to offer theoretical foundation and reference for the establishment of single pension insurance system for both urban and suburb areas.The article consists of six parts. The first part is introduction which states in details the background, the significance, studying method, and some related summary of the article. The second part talks about some basic theories about the rural pension insurance system. The third part looks back the development history of out rural pension insurance system. The forth part analyses the rural pension insurance system current situation and the problems existed. The fifth part summarizes other countries'experience by distinguishing the developed and developing countries, for example, Germany, Japan, Brazil and Chile. Part VI is described in the above sections, and basis of the analysis to explore how to set up China's national conditions of the rural population to adapt to old-age security system.
