Continuous improvement is a"different areas of business or work done on the location of the continuous improvement and perfection,"which is a decisive quality management concepts and methods behind. It is rich in content, including world-renowned in recent years, many management practices and management methods. Improve the ability of the enterprise's core competitiveness, the most important one, in the increasingly fierce market competition, enterprises must have a strong enough to improve the ability to respond to internal and external market, the complicated changes in the competitive advantage. The face of market challenges, FAW-Volkswagen has in its growth process, the"full participation, continuous improvement"work to achieve long-term development as the starting point and end point,"full participation, continuous improvement"meaning work also accompanied by FAW-Volkswagen's development and continuously enriched and improved.Based on the theory of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and integrated use of industrial engineering as well as Germany's Volkswagen introduced KVP-KASKADEN related technical methods, through systematic analysis of the FAW-Volkswagen plant site continues to improve body process were studied. Through the implementation of continuous improvement body workshop activities, continue to eliminate the production of on-site body workshop there is overproduction, inventory, waiting, unnecessary, not ergonomic, and poor handling and manufacturing waste, reduce production costs, improve production efficiency, improve product quality and management level. Therefore, this article from the introduction and continuous improvement related to lean production improvements, industrial engineering improvements and KVP-KASKADEN improvements to start, a brief introduction to relevant theories and methods to improve the basis, through the FAW-Volkswagen Body shop floor management status and problems of in-depth analysis, for which problems to be solved, using the 5S management, standardized operation, eliminating waste, the production line rhythm management, a flow production, pull-type production and perfect manufacturing, continuous improvement of the theory and methods applied research to improve the site, through continuous improvement to achieve the continuous elimination of all waste, make the production more smoothly, reduce production costs, reduce cycle times, achieve a pull flow production, to achieve zero-defect quality, to achieve in order to create value-oriented synchronous production. This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter in the Introduction and the second Chapter of the relevant theory and methods of using a brief introduction, since only the third chapter until the fifth chapter, is the main part of the paper, the focus from the perspective of continuous improvement FAW-Volkswagen needed to improve the body shop need to improve the program's application and effectiveness of program implementation.Chapterâ… , introduction. This chapter describes the research background and significance of writing this paper, summarizes the research process home and abroad, and then puts forward to the research thoughts and content structures of the study.Chapter II, an overview of relevant theories and methods. This chapter gives a brief description of Lean Production method, KVP-KASKADEN method and Industrial Engineering method, laying the theoretical and methodological basis for the paper.Chapter II, the production status and problem analysis. In this chapter, the author describes the Gemba management status of FAW-Volkswagen body shop with a in-depth analysis, and then analyses the need to improve the site.Chapter IV, the application of CIP in the body shop. The author expounds the application of the theories and methods of eliminating waste, 5S management, standardized operation, production line rhythm management, a flow production, pull production, perfect manufacturing to the Gemba improvement of the FAW-Volkswagen body shop.Chapter V, benefit analysis and evaluation. This chapter analyses the effects of direct benefit, management benefit and environmental benefit of the application of CIP to Gemba improvement of FAW-Volkswagen body shop.
