Knowledge Absorption Perspective On Research Of The Cluster Enterprises' Open Innovation Model

Financial crisis had a serious impact on the global economy and its industry, especially on industrial clusters which developed from the traditional manufacturing industries in the southeast coast of China, and transformation and upgrading of industrial clusters has became an important trend. The technological innovation of cluster enterprises is the key method to achieve transformation and upgrading of industrial clusters, and the key step in finishing technological innovation is the transformation which from close innovation to open innovation. Open innovation is a process which require companies to absorb innovation knowledge from the external and internal, and enhance innovation knowledge'commercial value through the internal integration and re-create. Researches on open innovation are concentrated at the enterprise level on the one hand, to study the open innovation from those perspectives that the innovative resource acquisition and innovation risk assessment; On the other hand, the researches on open innovation are mostly focused on someone step in the process of open innovation, not the entire absorption of knowledge process, studying the process of open innovation from the overall process that from knowledge generation to knowledge integration; In addition, few studies on exploring the characteristics and models of the firms'open innovation in cluster environment.Therefore, this thesis takes the cluster enterprises as object of study. Firstly, construct the framework model of open innovation theory; Secondly, perspective on knowledge absorption to reveal the processes, characteristics and models when cluster enterprises implement open innovation by summarizing enterprises'knowledge absorption paths; Thirdly, take Yiwu jewelry industry cluster as case to verify the concept and model, and refine problems and shortcomings when cluster enterprises implement open innovation; Finally, propose suggestions to open innovation.This thesis includes six chapters:Chapter I is an introduction, it describes the background, innovation and significance, then introduce the content and methods; Chapter II introduces the connotation of innovation, technological innovation and open innovation, analyzes the dialectical relationship among the three concepts, and reviews the theory of open innovation from the research object, the research perspective and business models; Chapter III analyzes the inevitability of open innovation. Based on the summary of open innovation reasons and characteristics, this thesis constructs the theoretical framework of open innovation, according to this model, proposes theory adaptability of cluster enterprises implement open innovation; Chapter IV summarizes the models of the cluster enterprises open innovation, introduces the relationship between knowledge absorption and open innovation, and outlines the main paths of enterprise knowledge absorption, then proposes four cluster enterprise open innovation models which are high control-high energy, low control-high energy, low control-low energy and high control-low energy, and analyzes the effectiveness of various models; Chapter V takes Yiwu jewelry industry cluster as an example to introduce its current situation, analyzes the analysis of cluster enterprise open innovation models, and reveals problems and shortcomings; Chapter VI is the section of measures and forward-looking, proposes suggestions to cluster enterprises when they implement open innovation models, and point out the defects of this thesis and future research prospects.
