| In recent years,the rise of the concept of open innovation not only provides new ways for latecomer enterprises to catch up,but also provides new ideas for the sustainable development of knowledge-intensive enterprises.The core competitiveness of knowledge-intensive enterprises is scarce knowledge resources.However,the emergence of the idea of knowledge division makes enterprises realize that in order to achieve continuous innovation,enterprises cannot simply rely on internal knowledge resources,but need to obtain knowledge resources from the outside,and comprehensively utilize internal and external knowledge resources to build enterprise competitiveness,so as to promote enterprise open innovation.At present,although most scholars begin to analyze open innovation as the research focus,most of them focus on the impact of open innovation in enterprises,while ignoring the pre-influencing factors of open innovation.The difference between open innovation and traditional innovation lies in its openness,which can undoubtedly be studied from the perspective of external search.Therefore,this paper classifies professional knowledge search into three dimensions according to specialization,and studies the direct impact of professional knowledge search on open innovation in knowledge-intensive enterprises.In addition,open innovation emphasizes the comprehensive utilization of internal and external resources,and the knowledge base on behalf of the internal structure of knowledge base,and the search strategy the strategy adopted by the enterprise in knowledge search activities to some extent.The role of these two in the relationship between specialized knowledge search and open innovation still needs further indepth analysis.Based on this,this paper uses case analysis method to sort out the case practices of Huawei and Changan Automobile in each stage of innovation,and sorts out the influence mechanism of knowledge search activities on enterprise open innovation in actual cases.At the same time,questionnaire is used to investigate knowledge-intensive enterprises,and quantitative methods are used to test the influence of specialized knowledge search on the open innovation of knowledge-intensive enterprises,as well as the moderating effects of search strategy and the mediating role of konwledge base.According to the final research conclusions,corresponding management suggestions are put forward.First of all,this paper takes Huawei and Changan Automobile as the case study objects,and summarizes the dynamic evolution trend of each enterprise in different stages through detailed presentation of the factors related to this paper in their development process.The realization process of open innovation of Huawei and Changan Automobile is sorted out from the aspects of driving factors,search action,action focus,knowledge base change and open innovation.Following the principle of logical replication,the logical induction of Huawei and Changan Automobile is carried out,and the realistic logical relationship of each factor is sorted out,which lays the foundation for the subsequent theoretical hypothesis and questionnaire survey.Secondly,according to the characteristics of knowledgeintensive enterprises,combined with relevant domestic and foreign literature,expert discussion and communication with enterprises,this paper adjusts the existing mature scale to a certain extent.On this basis,the reliability and validity of the scale data were tested by small sample pre-survey,and the items were further screened.Then,the effective data were obtained through a large sample survey,and the model fit test and reliability and validity test were conducted on the effective data.Finally,the questionnaire in line with the situation of knowledge-intensive enterprises was formed.Finally,this paper discusses the influence mechanism of specialized knowledge search on open innovation in knowledge-intensive enterprises.By combing and summarizing a large number of literatures,combining search theory,knowledge base theory and innovation theory,and on the basis of case analysis,this paper puts forward a hypothesis model of this study.It is assumed that specialized knowledge search not only directly affects open innovation in knowledge-intensive enterprises,but also has a direct influence on open innovation in knowledge-intensive enterprises.Moreover,firms’ search strategy can also moderate the relationship between specialized knowledge search and open innovation,the knowledge base of firms can mediate the influence of specialized knowledge search on open innovation of knowledge-intensive firms.On the basis of theoretical hypotheses,a questionnaire survey was conducted for knowledge-intensive enterprises,and the hierarchical linear regression method was used to test the hypothesis model.The results show that:(1)The three dimensions of specialized knowledge search: sciencedriven search,market-driven search and supply-driven search have significant positive effects on the inbound and outbound oriented open innovation of knowledge-intensive enterprises.The contribution rate of science-driven search to inbound open innovation is the largest,and that of supply-driven search to outbound open innovation is the largest.(2)The reactive search strategy has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between science-driven search and outbound open innovation,market-driven search,supply-driven search and inbound and outbound open innovation.The prospective search strategy plays a positive moderating role between science-driven search and inbound and outbound open innovation and between market-driven search and oubound open innovation.(3)Knowledge base width plays a partial intermediary role between scien-driven search,market-driven search and supply-driven search and inbound and outbound open innovation,while knowledge base depth plays a partial intermediary role between science-driven search,market-driven search and supply-driven search and inbound and outbound open innovation.In view of the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following management suggestions: First,knowledge-intensive enterprises should enrich their own knowledge search channels and broaden the scope of knowledge search acoording to their characteristic,so as to obtain more scarce knowledge resources conducive to open innovation.Second,in the process of searching for different knowledge resources,the company should constantly expand its knowledge base and knowledge reserve,and seriously study knowledge resources,so as to improve its own absorption and transformation efficiency when external knowledge resources enter,and ensure open innovation of enterprises.Third,it is necessary to formulate search strategies adapted to the specific conditions of enterprises,and carry out external search according to the search strategies,obtain the knowledge resources most needed by enterprises at present,so as to promote the rapid development of enterprise open innovation.The innovation of this paper are mainly reflected in the following three aspects: First of all,from the perspective of organizational search theory,the influence of specialized knowledge search action on open innovation of knowledge-intensive enterprises is discussed,and the differentiated influence of different dimensions of knowledge search on open innovation is further verified,thus enriching the research in the field of organizational search theory.Secondly,from the composite perspective of action-strategy,this paper explores the role of search strategy in the realization of open innovation in knowledge-intensive enterprises,and introduces knowledge base into the overall research framework to verify its mediating role in the relationship between specialized knowledge search and open innovation,expands the research on the mechanism between the two,and enriches the research in the field of open innovation.Thirdly,the case analysis method is used to logically copy the open innovation process of Huawei and Changan Automobile,extract the common open innovation path of the two,analyze the implementation framework of the open innovation of knowledment-intensive enterprises,and further improve the research of knowledge search and innovation in the case analysis method. |
