This thesis defined the basic content and the characteristics of the land market, analysis economic, institutional, policy factors and discussed driving mechanism of land market development centering on driving mechanism of land market development. Finally, take Changzhou as a case. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The pushing factors of land market development can be divided into natural, economic and social ones. Natural factors are mainly meaning the natural environment, it contains texture, climate and so on, all of which will influence the natural supply of land and furthermore limit the economic supply. Economic factors are containing macroeconomic development level, industry structure, and social investment extent. Social factors are containing people's number, urbanization, income level and city finance. pushing factors of land market development is just common, however, huge difference about the development assets of different land market may be existing at the same factors' push, therefore, the analysis of pushing system should be connected with the pushing factors ad institutional atmosphere, then possible process of coupled can be discussed.(2) The land market is running on the market mechanism. Land price is decisided by land supply and demand. Land price-decision mechanism and supply and demand mechanism are the the core of land market driving mechanism. Economic mechanism of land market development includes micro-market mechanism and macro-control mechanism.(3)Quantitative analysis on driving factors of Changzhou's land market shows that Changzhou's land market is influenced by Macro-economic development level and consumption of commercial housing. With the improvement of macro-economic level, Changzhou's GDP,location and visibility upgrade,which are the main factors leading the increasing demand of Construction land. At the same time, housing consumer demand and investment demand are the second driving mechanism.
