Quantifative Analysis On The Research Status Of Chinese Gene Field

The 21st century will be a biotech century and genetic research is a hot spot in this field. The application of genetic research has been penetrated into many areas of human society and gradually affected the survival and development of mankind. Governments and companies pay high attention to it, increasing investment in succession and striving to occupy the commanding heights of the technical field. Under this circumstance, on the basis of genetic science literature research achievements, we use quantitative analysis method on review of genetic science side of scientific research development from the angle of metrology of China's genetic science research venation to draw the outline of China's genetic science development prospect. The study aims to provide some useful quantitative reference for genetic scientists and policy makers in this field, and to promote the rapid development of gene technology business.This paper uses the large international authority SCI as data sources to retrieve the literature of genetic research in china from 1982 to 2008 in SCI. First, according to such indicators like quantity, influence and language types, this thesis generalizes and observes the overall genetic science research status of our country from the macroscopic perspective; Second, according to the Category (SC), particularly the Published Year (PY), in combination with the genes information of other fields, the scientific field involved research Subject range; Then with the help of the software—Wordsmith, using the keywords frequency analysis method, the research discussed the hot spot in the genetic science field; Finally, based on the analysis of the regional distribution of China's genes science research strength, this paper reveals the characteristics that the region of the genetic scientific field research of our country is relatively scattered, and the study results are comparatively concentrated.In the follow-up study of this paper, we will apply the knowledge map method and visualization technology means to conduct more intuitive topological analysis according to the cross-disciplinary status and the combination way between keywords of China's genetic science to depict the knowledge map in China's genetic science research development.
