Analysis Based On SCI Research Situation Of Henan Province Natural Science

In this study, the construction of Henan province of central China Economic Zone of the "rise ofcentral China" strategy for the planning of Henan Province in recent years, development of science andtechnology, especially the development of quantitative research of natural science disciplines, throughliterature analysis using quantitative research method, the method of citation analysis and keyword analysismethod, the advantages of disciplines with the key of the influence and effect of Henan provincial naturalscience development, clarify the nature of scientific research in Henan province science and technologystrength, scientific cooperation in exploration of cutting-edge and field research in Henan Province NaturalScience, provided a quantitative reference for the planning of the rise of Central China’s important practiceand basic subjects into practical productivity.According to the Science Citation Index Database (SCI) as the data source, using scientometricsmethod, conducts the research to the SCI between2000and2011included areas of natural science ofHenan province results. Through the analysis of related data, objectively show the nature of scientificresearch in Henan province’s overall strength and international research situation, and on the basis ofquantitative research, subject development situation and advantages of disciplines distribution reveal thenatural science research in Henan province. Through to the Henan province natural science research statusanalysis, exploring the inside regulation of Henan province natural science research activities, promote thedevelopment of Henan natural science, in order to achieve the better technology and construction of theHenan area of Central Plains economy service purpose.Research results show that, the number of natural science research paper in Henan province hasincreased year by year, and maintain a year on year growth momentum. In12years, natural scienceresearch progress of Henan Province, obviously, both quality and quantity are realized great-leap-forwarddevelopment. Analysis of the data showed, computer science is a popular subject of study in Henanprovince in recent twelve years, but its growth rate is not very stable, growth range is bigger, the chemicalengineering, materials science, physics and mathematics have maintained a good development trend. Thistwelve years published interdisciplinary overall upward trend, the discipline overlapping cooperation trend more obvious, fully embodies the Henan province natural science progress, accelerating the pace ofinternationalization. This twelve years and international studies link in deepening, mainly in the journalstypes over time remained uniform growth state, the literature periodical distribution is also graduallyexpanding. In addition, referenced in the2000~2011and twelve years also showed a gradual upward trendin Henan Province Natural Science papers indexed by SCI. From the analysis results, the number ofkeywords is increasing with years, especially after2006is to accelerate the development of potential. Mode,water, cell, structure, complex, behavior and so on are high-frequency vocabulary. One of the otherprovinces of Henan Province, China and the United States of America itself, other developed countries andregions are the main countries and regions of Henan Province Natural Science, to study the local issues andkey research fields of Henan Province, scholars mainly focus on the developed countries such as America’sattention. From the results of the research strength, number of researchers in Henan province to acceleratethe development of momentum, reflecting the research team of Henan Provincial Natural Science in thefield of rapid development, the growing reality. More concern is the study of natural science, HarvardUniversity and the National University of Singapore in Henan province is the largest production of thesetwo institutions. While Henan province published several high-yielding mechanism of most SCI paper isthe Zhengzhou University, Henan University, Henan Normal University.
