To begin with a review of related literatures, this paper defines the conception of cultural trade and international competitiveness etc., and then summarizes the developing situation and characteristics of cultural trade both at home and abroad. Secondly, by taking advantage of related data to calculate the international market share and trade competition index of our core cultural goods, the paper draws the conclusion that the international market share is under the level, leading to the weak competitiveness of our cultural trade. The theory of"Michael Porter Diamond Model"will be used to put forward 11 factors exerting influences in the international competitiveness of our cultural trade. By analyzing the above factors and making use of the Factor Analysis Method for the process of the empirical research to calculate the respective influence of all relative factors, the final result obtained is that Economic Foundation Factor and Potential Competition Factor of cultural trade are recognized as two factors affecting the international competitiveness of our country's cultural trade. Then the paper confirms that the urbanization of our country, the consumer spending proportion in entertainment of urban residents cultural and the number of organizations of cultural relics and industry have an obvious effect on the Economic Foundation Factor of our cultural trade. Meanwhile, the labor productivity of the cultural trade and cultural trade FDI has a significant effect on Potential Competition Factor. In the last, propositions will be put forward in connection with the above analysis, which include promoting the level and quality of the urbanization further, increasing the per capita income and the consumer spending in culture, developing the modern culture industry and cultivating the new style of cultural industry, exploiting the cultural resources advantage to improve labor productivity, and giving full play to the "spillover effect" to broaden the investment and financing channels of cultural trade, thus more effectively pushing forward the development of our cultural trade.
