An Study On Food Safety Supervision System

As economy developing and people's living standards rising, food safety issues have been concerned widely in China society. Especially after accession to the WTO, in order to supervise food safety more intensively and correspond China's food safety regulatory system and methods with international standards, it is an urgent need to construct a reasonable food safety regulatory system. A chain of vicious food safety incidents at home and abroad arouse great attention for food safety. Food safety is important to the people's health, economy development and the harmonious society. It is a pressing practical need and the focus of theorists to further strengthen and improve the food safety regulatory mechanism.This study focuses on the problem in food production, processing, and food management from the present situation by referencing to domestic and international food regulatory mechanism research. Analyses the problem and bad influences in administration system, function amplification, team construction, departmental responsibilities, testing technology and self-disciplines. At the same time, the paper finds its causes from market regulation, the functions of sector regulation, production and processing control mechanism. On this basis, it is necessary to enhance the level of food safety supervision mechanism from a regulatory organization, control mechanisms and credit system, and then put forward several ideas to strengthen food safety supervision mechanism with a view to the government level, especially local government.
