As the major supplying units of energy and raw materials, Pingxiang have contributed greatly to the development of Jiangxi Provinces'economy and society. Menawhile, Pingxiang confronting with many serious developing problems, such as the exhausting mineral resources, the declining cities, and the aggravating ecological environment, ete. How to implement the sustainable development of the city, which will become the enormous challenges for the development of Pingxiang.First of all, on the basis of analyzing the city of Pingxiangs'primary features, evolving directions, and the principle of circular economies, this thesis get the conclusion that circular economy is a new way and possible selection to realize the sustainable development of Pingxiang.Secondly, on the analysis of the basic theory of circular economy, the indicator system starts from the denomination of coal city recycle economies system, and designs four rule levels of population, resource, economy and environxnent, including 12 indictors and by using the method of factor analysis to have a horizontal comparison between Pingxiang and other 13 typical coal resources citys'circular economy status also this thesis take a longitudinal evaluation of Pingxiangs' development situation of circular economy.Thirdly, the thesis employs system dynamics method to establish the systematic dynamics model of Pingxiang circular economy development, and through systematic dynamics simulation and control, explores the fundamental systematic evolvement proeess of Pingxiang in different phases, The simulation results show that:compare with the other four kind of development model, circular economy have take economic, resource, environment and the social overall benefit maximum, so we can get the conclusion that circular economy is the optimum scheme to achieve the sustainable development of Pingxiang.
